Matt is the Head of the Office of Environmental Affairs at JP Morgan Chase and leads the firm's efforts to be a leader among financial services companies in protecting the environment while enhancing business success. The team develops environmental policy and guidance for business, supports clients to identify and mitigate environmental risk, and enhances environmental outcomes throughout the firm's operations.

Prior to Joining JP Morgan Chase, Matt was Principal and lead of Sustainable Business Solutions at PwC. PwC helps clients achieve business success from their sustainability strategies and investments. They focus on revenue growth, cost reduction and risk mitigation in industrial, financial, airline, food and consumer product companies.

Matt was co-founder of Sustainable Finance Ltd. which helps financial services companies to develop sustainability strategy, manage environmental and social risk and to identify environmentally superior investment opportunities. His clients include commercial and investment banks, insurers, real estate companies, industrial products and development banks. Sustainable Finance was acquired by PwC in December 2008.

Matt was COO at the World Resources Institute, a sustainable Think Tank. He held marketing positions with IBM, investment banking at Merrill Lynch, and in business development with Sante Fe trading, Hong Kong. Matt founded the Management Institute for Environment and Business which was a pioneer in presenting environmental challenges as business opportunities to companies and business schools.

Matt holds an AB degree in Psychobiology from College, an MA in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Anric Blatt

Anric Blatt is the founder and chairman of The Global Fund Exchange Group, a multi-manager and white label fund management business focused on mega themes and vital assets such as water, food, energy and other scarce resources. He is the co-portfolio manager of the AquaTerra and Earth Wind & Fire funds.

Previously he held positions as CIO of the Infiniti Capital Group in Zurich and before that spent a decade in Asia with renowned firms like Kenmar, Forsyth Partners and Horwath Financial.
Over the past 22 years, Anric has developed an acute interest and expertise in a wide range of subject matters including history, geopolitics, commodities, technology and finance. He has held active roles on over 50 investment companies, has completed due diligence on thousands of hedge fund investments and has now dedicated his business interests to providing global investors with sustainable investment solutions that will enable them to leave a profitable legacy for future generations.

His non-business life is filled to the brim with family travel, reading, studying, technology, 3 teenage boys, Labradors and golden retrievers.
He serves on various non-profit boards, including the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation and the Terra Primus, Earth First ! Foundation. He is a vice chairman of the Toys for Tots Foundation.

Travis Bradford

Travis Bradford is a faculty member at Columbia University and teaches energy, markets, and innovation across the policy school, business school, and Earth Institute there. Travis is also the founder and president of the Prometheus Institute for Sustainable Development, a nonprofit organization focused on harnessing the power of the business sector to develop cost-effective and sustainable solutions in technologies, including energy, water, food, and recycling. Through the Institute, he helped launchmany organizations, including Greentech Media and the Carbon War Room.

Brad Copithorne

Brad Copithorne is Director of Clean Energy Financing Solutions at EDF. His work is primarily focused on removing market barriers and developing new strategies for investing in energy efficiency. This effort involves close coordination between individual and institutional investors, lenders, fund managers, environmental service companies, real estate owners, utilities, regulators, government officials and other private and public sector stakeholders. Brad is leading the effort to develop On-Bill Repayment programs in California, Texas, Ohio and other states.

Brad has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry. He started his career at Salomon Brothers/Citi where he worked on fixed income origination and new product development. More recently, Brad worked for Morgan Stanley's Technology Investment Banking team in Silicon Valley where he covered the enterprise hardware, contract manufacturing and IT distribution industries. In 2008, Brad was a partner at a fixed income hedge fund.

In 2009 Brad re-enrolled at Stanford University to study energy policy and graduated in June, 2010.

Phil Davis
Senior Manager, Demand Response Resource Center

Phil Davis serves as Senior Manager, Demand Resource Center for Schneider Electric, and develops grid connected energy efficiency and demand resource strategies large energy users. Prior to joining Schneider Electric via an acquisition he was Chief Operating Officer for RETX Energy Services where he also ran market operations to monetize client energy positions. Trained in Economics, Mr. Davis has an extensive professional background in applying efficient energy strategies to support the disparate goals of energy stakeholders. Among his credits is the design and installation of a groundbreaking "intelligent building system" at Rockefeller Center in New York, and a high speed energy interactive system at the College of San Mateo. Phil is a frequent trade show panelist on the grid impact of EV's, Building Systems, and Standards Support, as well as orienting Schneider customers on interacting with the coming Smart Grid.

Davis began his energy career in 1978 with Equifax, Inc., developing commercial and residential energy audits in response to the 1978 passage of the National Energy Conservation Policy Act (NECPA) and was very active working with DOE on developing the resulting rule making. Since then, he has spent the bulk of his career developing and implementing innovative infrastructure designs to improve energy efficiency in government, industrial and large commercial sites as well as wide scale residential programs on behalf of utilities. In doing so, he considers human factors as part of the infrastructure equation and has been able improve client job satisfaction along with process efficiencies.

Frank Dinucci

Mr. Dinucci has had a business and finance career that has spanned forty years and includes extensive business development, client relationship management, corporate finance and direct operations and management experience. Over those years, he has worked with a wide array of corporate clients ranging from start-up, seed capital ventures to multinational corporations in a variety of industries. During his career he spent ten years as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch in the Energy and Natural Resources Group working with a large group of diversified oil and natural gas companies. He left Merrill Lynch to become the head investment banking at Conning & Co. for three years before launching his own boutique investment bank and venture firm with two Wall Street partners. For 14 years Forest Street Capital and SAE Ventures, the company he founded provided a full range of advisory services to early stage technology companies. He was instrumental in launching and building these early stage companies.

In 2006, he left the company to become the President and Executive Director of Connecticut Innovations, overseeing all its investment strategy and administration. The organization is a mutli-dimensional investment company with about $300 million of venture capital investments focused on early technologies including alternative energy as well as the evergreen Connecticut Clean Energy Fund, a steady pool of capital directed at initiatives to increase electricity generation in the state as well as support a large push into residential and commercial solar installation through investment and incentives.

In 2007 he joined with the principals of Triton Meridian Resource Advisors to provide project and technology development, merger, acquisition management and capital finance advisory services to a wide array of opportunities from innovative new alternative energy solutions to large alternative energy and power generation programs.

During this period, Mr. Dinucci was brought in to restructure and launch one of the most unique and dynamic medical technology commercialization companies. He became President and CEO of Boston BioCom, founded by Partners Healthcare (the parent for the Harvard teaching hospitals) and funded by Pfizer.

Mr. Dinucci has extensive experience in a wide range of financial products and services including M&A, corporate licensing, business planning, and financing. During his career, he has managed financial transactions that totaled approximately $15 billion in equity and debt. He began his career in 1972 as an institutional investor for the Aetna Life & Casualty Company and CBT Corp. His team at Aetna managed over $1 billion of direct investments in a wide range of industries.

Justin Felt

Justin Felt is Associate Director, Advisory Services, Commodities and Energy at Thomson Reuters. Justin serves as a manager on the team that provides consulting services and develops new energy related information products for Thomson Reuters. Justin's focus is on US and global carbon markets, and wider environmental commodity markets such as RECs and RINs. Before joining the Advisory team, Justin served as Global Head of Renewable Market Strategy for Thomson Reuters. In that role, he coordinated initiatives within Thomson Reuters to create new tools and analytical products for the renewable power markets. From 2008-2010, Justin also led North American offsets analysis for Point Carbon and managed the creation of the "Carbon Project Manager North America" subscription product. Justin holds an MBA and an MS in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan, and has four years of corporate finance experience with IBM prior to Thomson Reuters Point Carbon.

Christopher Fry

Christopher Fry is a Project Specialist in the New York Power Authority's Energy Resource Management department, where he manages NYPA's Green Power Program including procurement, contract negotiation, regulatory reporting, and Green-e Energy certification. In 2011, NYPA's Green Power program provided over 230 GWh of Renewable Energy Credits to its customers. In addition to managing the Green Power Program, Chris serves as NYPA's representative for renewable energy in the development of the 2013 New York State Energy Plan.
Before joining NYPA, Chris was a Research Associate in the Transfer Pricing division of NERA, where he supported principals in all aspects of consulting engagements from origination, through financial modeling and analysis, to issuance of advisory and compliance reports.
Chris is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Tufts University where he received his BA in Quantitative Economics and International Relations. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa as well as the New York Association for Energy Economists.

Peter C. Fusaro

Eli Katz is a transactional lawyer who focuses on providing tax, legal and commercial advice to a broad range of clients in the energy and financial sectors. Many of Mr. Katz's clients are active in the renewable energy and clean-tech industries where they operate across many sectors such as wind, solar, geothermal, biomass, biofuels, transmission, demand side management and energy saving retrofits. Mr. Katz regularly advises his clients on energy tax credits, government incentive programs, project development and finance, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and deployment structures and all forms of leasing transactions both in the United States and abroad. Represented the developer and lessee on a $560 million sale-leaseback of a 150MW wind farm in Kern County, California.
Represented MetLife on its joint venture with BP Solar for the Long Island Solar Farm, a 32MW solar energy project under construction at the U.S. Department of Energy, Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, NY.
Represented the developer group in the approximately $2 billion financing for the world's largest wind farm totaling 845 MW of capacity at the Caithness Shepherds Flat project in eastern Oregon.
Represented AES in a $120 million tax equity financing from Citibank of the Armenia Mountain Wind projects in Tioga and Bradford County.
Represented GE Energy Financial Services in connection with the company's preferred equity investment in an Oklahoma wind farm.
Represented Transmission Developers Inc. (TDI), sponsor of the Champlain Hudson Power Express (CHPE), in the development of a $3.8 billion power transmission line to bring renewable power to New York and New England from the U.S.-Canada border. Blackstone Group is TDI's lead financial partner.
Represented the Mt. Poso Cogeneration Company in its convertible tax equity investment with DTE Energy Services to fund the conversion of a 49.5MW coal-fired power plant to burn biomass located near Bakersfield, California. When completed, this will be the largest biomass project in California.

CLIMATE BONDS INITIATIVE

The Climate Bonds Initiative works to mobilize bond markets to finance a rapid, global transition to a low-carbon economy. Supported by a 50 member, 15 country Advisory Panel, the Initiative develops policies and projects that will support renewable energy and energy efficiency investibility and educates investors and prospective bond issuers about opportunities with climate change solutions.

The Climate Bonds Initiative runs an International Climate Bonds Standards and Certification Scheme. The Standards Board includes the Treasurer of California, Bill Lockyer; the US Investor Network on Climate Risk; CalSTRS, the USA's second largest pension fund; and Australia's Investor Group on Climate Change. Its industry working group includes representatives from KPMG, Standard & Poor's, Aviva Investors and the IFC. The first standards-compliant bonds will be issued soon.

The Initiative also promotes public sector guarantee schemes for renewable energy and public transport; the creation of green investment banks; green securitization; and "sustainable financial solutions" suitable for climate bond financing of residential energy efficiency retrofits.

Sean serves as a member of the UK Government's Capital Markets Climate Initiative, the Mercer Sustainability Opportunities Fund Advisory Panel and the TransformUK business/NGO coalition. He is also a director of the Network for Sustainable Financial Markets, an international network of finance sector professionals and academics and who see the need for fundamental changes to improve financial market integrity, stability and efficiency.

Sean was previously a marketing advisor to a number of the largest Australian pension funds and a social marketer and publisher.

Charlotte Kim is a partner in the New York office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR). Her practice focuses on global corporate finance with particular expertise in the energy, healthcare, life sciences and technology sectors. Charlotte has structured, negotiated, and closed more than 140 transactions with a total value exceeding $20 billion.
Charlotte has extensive experience advising public and private companies, private equity funds, venture capital funds, financial institutions, institutional investors, developers and multilateral agencies on capital structures and financing needs throughout the life cycle of an enterprise or project, from start-up and construction through development, operations, acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings and investments.
Charlotte's transactional experience includes energy efficiency finance; renewable/clean energy development and financing; energy savings agreements (ESAs); PACE financing; project finance; securitizations; buyout and acquisition finance; private placements and debt securities offerings; lease financings; related derivative transactions; joint ventures and other equity investments; and restructuring transactions, both in and out of bankruptcy. In addition, she has completed numerous cross-border transactions and investments involving the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America.
Charlotte's long-standing interest in clean energy began during her tenure as a Fulbright Scholar at the Centre for European Policy Studies in Brussels, Belgium in 1991. She was a consultant to the UN Climate Change Secretariat during the Kyoto Protocol negotiations and several other UN Climate Change Convention negotiations. Charlotte co-authored with Professor Abram Chayes an article on China's role in these negotiations, "China and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change," Energizing China, distributed by Harvard University Press. In May 2012, Charlotte co-authored and was the main architect of a WSGR white paper, "Innovations and Opportunities in Energy Efficiency Finance".

Born and bred in the Bronx, Les attended the School of Visual Arts in New York, graduated and went on to enjoy a career in graphic arts both in New York and Denver Colorado. While in Denver, Les founded WordCom Inc. during the late 1970's. WordCom, a graphics, typesetting and printing company, featured a communications based infrastructure for the rapid creation of prospectus, red herrings, annual reports and documents requiring timely turnaround. Les developed proprietary software that translated word processing commands into finished typeset pages ready for printing. He also was one of the first to use a micro-computer as a "front end" and incorporated high speed laser printers as a proofing system. Les worked directly with the Securities & Exchange Commission allowing digitized signatures as original.
Les transferred his expertise in communications and proprietary word processing code translation software and founded Interpreter Inc. Les, as CEO, led an initial public offering and Interpreter became the first company to ever create a video prospectus approved by SEC. Interpreter went on to become the global leader in communications based document translation. Les left Interpreter due to a family emergency and moved back to the New York area where he became Executive Vice President for a point of purchase display company followed by an executive position with the leading cosmetic advertising and printing company, Arcade. At Arcade, Les introduced the world to interactive, virtual reality based cosmetic and scent applications. In 2004, Les and a partner purchased a virtual reality development company in Connecticut and engaged in several military contracts and immersive reality simulations.
From 2005 to the present, as a co-founder of the Hudson Valley Center for Innovation (HVCFI), a business incubator and technology accelerator, Les has guided the firm from its traditional not for profit roots to iCANny, the foremost global brand in virtual technology acceleration. The HVCFI is a partner in the NYSERDA sponsored incubator, iCLEAN. The partnership is a collaborative effort between the HVCFI, the College for Nanoscale Science & Engineering at the University at Albany and the Saratoga Technology Energy Park. Dana Schneider leads JLL's Energy and Sustainability Services division in a region anchored by New York City, Boston and Washington DC. Her focus is on energy optimization as well as the development and implementation of energy and sustainability programs for new and existing clients. Additionally, she specializes in energy and sustainability performance and LEED certification for new and existing buildings and portfolios as well as commercial interiors. Ms. Schneider joined JLL in 2002.

Ms. Schneider leads teams currently implementing a whole-building energy retrofit of the Empire State Building and that recently achieved LEED EBOM Gold certification for the most famous office building in the world in 2011. This major initiative uses a groundbreaking analytical model for maximizing energy and environmental value per dollar spent, which she was instrumental in developing. Ms. Schneider is now replicating this energy optimization process in over 30 buildings across the U.S. In addition to her work at the Empire State Building, she manages energy and sustainability aspects of mission critical facilities across the country and has led energy and sustainability assignments at over 24 million square feet of properties in the Northeast.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Schneider has overseen projects for corporate, investor and institutional clients such as HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Citigroup, Diageo, Barclays Capital, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Malkin Holdings, Grand Central Terminal and BBC.
